Winter Warmer Maple Bourbon Barrel-Aged is back for 2020
Scheduled for a retail release on Black Friday.
Just in time for the holiday season, we are tapping the ultimate drinkable stocking stuffer.
For this Holiday season, we brought back our Winter Warmer Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Ale. We procured barrels that were used to age bourbon and then maple syrup. These fantastic barrels were dripping with incredible Maple character and we felt that they were the perfect pairing to our beloved Christmas Seasonal, Winter Warmer.

This limited 10% ABV holiday treat starts off with so much maple that it makes pancakes blush. As that flavor fades, the base beer becomes more present and all the holiday spices cut through any residual sweetness. The finish lingers with hints of vanilla and baked goods as the flavors from the original bourbon make an appearance.

Winter Warmer -Maple Bourbon Aged Spiced Ale
10% ABV 24 IBUs
Our spiced Winter Warmer brewed slightly bigger (10% abv) and aged for 4 months in bourbon barrels used by Bliss for their bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup. Big sweet maple & malt synergy of flavor with subdued spicing and a touch of bourbon and oak character. A Yuletide sipper if there ever was one.
