September is that strange little month where summer and fall fight over the thermostat. One day you’re enjoying a beer on the patio in shorts, and three days later you’re digging through the closet wondering where you put the hoodie you haven’t seen since April.
This September, The Brew Kettle is serving up three chef-inspired specials at our Strongsville, Hudson and Brunswick locations. We plan to squeeze every last drop out of patio season while welcoming the return of hearty fall food. It’s that glorious transition from “one more beer outside” to “I guess I need a coat now.”
Pierogi Paprikash – $13
Two comfort-food heavyweights have entered the ring.
Our Pierogi Paprikash combines golden pierogies with a rich, creamy paprikash sauce, finished with sour cream and green onions. It’s warm, savory and exactly the kind of food September starts whispering about.
The Flying Pig – $17
Yes, pigs can fly. Apparently they just needed schnitzel and beer.
The Flying Pig brings together a crispy breaded pork cutlet smothered in melted cheese, served with a soft pretzel roll, mustard and broccoli. It’s big, hearty and engineered to make that salad you were considering seem like a distant memory.
Oktober-Feast – $18
Oktoberfest season has arrived, and subtlety has left the building.
The Oktober-Feast piles on the German-inspired goodness with a selection of sausages, braised red cabbage, seasoned potatoes and mustard. Pair it with a Brew Kettle beer and suddenly buying lederhosen online at 11:30 p.m. doesn’t seem completely unreasonable.
Soak Up Those Last Patio Days 
We know what’s coming. Falling leaves. Earlier sunsets. Jackets. Then heavier jackets. Then that giant winter coat that makes everyone look like they’re preparing for an expedition to the North Pole.
But not yet.
