Ragged Old Flag Finally Joins the Party
Ragged Old Flag was supposed to arrive in July for America’s 250th anniversary celebration. But like road construction, delayed flights and that one friend who says they’re “five minutes away,” it took a little longer than expected.

Ragged Old Flag officially releases at The Brew Kettle pubs on Friday, August 14. This Classic American Pilsner is the latest release in our Lager Discovery Series and was brewed in commemoration of our country’s 250th anniversary.
Inspired by the full-bodied beers produced by local breweries before Prohibition, Ragged Old Flag is brewed with six-row malt and Ohio corn, then finished with Cluster and Saaz hops. The result is a crisp, flavorful pilsner brimming with classic American character.
The name pays homage to Johnny Cash’s recording of “Ragged Old Flag”—a fitting tribute for a beer inspired by American brewing history.
Yes, Ragged Old Flag may be a little late to the party. Fortunately, it brought beer.
