We are excited to unveil our new lager series, starting with Vipera. The Story Behind Italian Pilsner
The Italian Pilsner is a relatively young style in the long history of brewing. It was first crafted in 1996 by Agostino Arioli at Birrificio Italiano in the Lombardy region of northern Italy near Milan.
Arioli took the classic German pilsner foundation and added something new: dry hopping with noble European hops.
The result was a revelation.
Italian Pilsners maintain the clean, crisp drinkability of a traditional pilsner, but introduce a more expressive hop aroma that delivers herbal, floral, and slightly spicy notes without crossing into IPA territory.
Think of it as a pilsner wearing an Italian suit.

Why “Vipera”?
The name Vipera comes from an ancient symbol rooted in Italian heraldry.
The biscione, often referred to as the vipera, is a mythical serpent depicted with a child in its mouth. It appears in historical coats of arms throughout northern Italy and represents power, transformation, and legend.
For our lager series, the name felt perfect.
A beer that looks calm and golden in the glass…
but delivers a surprising bite of hop aroma.
