Rockin Buzzard Holiday Brew!

Monday, December 4th!

Join us at our Strongsville Taproom & Topgolf Swing Suites with WMMS and The Alan Cox Show. We will be having a tapping party from 5-8 pm to celebrate the release of our second version of Rock’n Buzzard Holiday Brew!

The Winter 2023 collectors edition can will be much more limited than our first run as we only produced about half the barrels. We decided on an Imperial Ale with a touch of mulling spice, cherry, and orange peel. Flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned on a cozy snowy night.

Cans will be released at all our pubs on Monday 12/4/2023, The Alan Cox Show will only appear at Strongsville.

A spooky new beer is hitting THE BREW KETTLE ONLY. No distro, sorry folks. Try it at TBK!  Boo! Berry is a super light ale brewed with fresh OHIO GROWN BLUEBERRIES, lemon, and marshmallow flavors.

Possibly reminiscent of a childhood cereal?

It’s been a while since we’ve had a true taproom exclusive. BOO! Berry will be hitting the taprooms starting Friday at 5 pm in cans and on tap! A special spooky brew for those of you who fear the great pumpkin.

From the Heart - A Cold IPA,

The biggest collaborative experiment for Ohio craft brewers is back! This year we were honored to be given the opportunity to have our master brewer, Jack Kephart, develop the recipe in collaboration with our supplier partners. The recipe we ended on was a cold IPA absolutely smashed with Belma, Strata, and Zappa hops! The result is a snappy IPA with clean notes of tangerine, unripe melon, and young pine. It pours a bright warm orange color and finishes with a punchy American hop bitterness.

The recipe was devised by Jack Kephart, award-winning brewmaster at The Brew Kettle, and Whitney Thompson of Origin Malt, an Ohio-based ingredient supplier that donated the base barley malt for the project.

The flagship batch of From the Heart: Volume 3 was brewed at The Brew Kettle on Monday, April 17 by Kephart and Thompson, along with brewers from The Phoenix Brewing Company in Mansfield and Upside Brewing in Sylvania. The brewing system used at The Brew Kettle Production Works in Middleburg Heights was formerly installed at Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and was used by Thompson while she was employed as a brewer there.

Stolen Art - Cold India Pale Ale

A light bodied cold IPA brewed with Sultana and Mosaic Hops using Lunar Crush distinctively tropical Thiolized lager strain. Lunar Crush biotransforms thiol precursors from malt, hops, and grape-derived products for a new wave of passion fruit, guava, and New Zealand Sauvignon blanc fruitiness. This isn’t your typical lager yeast. End Results will be a cold IPA with huge notes of papaya, mango and juicy passion fruit that finishes clean and crisp, leaving you wanting another.
