I've just attended a wedding in Wilmington NC and the grandfather of the groom brought a supply of beer that he had brewed at the Beer Kettle. As a resident of the U.K. I just want to thank you guys for producing the best beer I have tasted in the U.S.A. and it certainly beats all of your commercial domestic beers that I have tried.

Following up with a note to say the bottling went great and the beers are quite tasty. I've certainly had worse from commercial brands. Anyone who hasn't tried brewing at the BK is really missing a unique experience. We already signed up for our next session! Thanks especially to the staff for all the help.

Just wanted to give a shout to Paul at the bar and the staff in the BOP area for all the help and hospitality at our recent brewing (8/28). We made a batch of Dead Poets and another of Car 21 Porter. Looking forward to being back in 3 weeks to do the bottling.---Tim

We had a great time this afternoon. I have been wanting to come here for a long time. Today we finally made the trip from the Mentor-Painesville area. The food and beer were great, definitely worth the trip. The catfish was aawesome, as was the pork. We hope to be back often even though it is a 45-50 minute drive.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00. With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left. With Lucent, you would have $3.50 left of the original $1000..00 But, if you had purchased $1, 000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND you would have had $214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. It's called the 401-Keg Plan. Just thought everyone would like to know! :-)

Really appreciate that you keep a few darks on tap in the summer & lighter brews in the winter. Tradition says no, but since darks are my favorite, I often get a hankering for one in hot weather. Vice versa when it's cold. Love BK: good food, good beer, best tap selection around, great brewing.

I just wanted to drop a line to say thanks for the mind blowing good beer I had at your brewery on a recent trip to OH. I live in Ireland and suffer from a serious hop famine. All our beers are a little too well balanced with malt and we do not have access to IPA, my favourite brew. Do you by any chance do a beer club where you send a selection of bottles on a monthly basis? Have you ever shipped beer? Do you think it would be possible to ship overseas? Best regards and thanks again, Kevin

Five of us drove up from Columbus, in the snow no less, this past weekend. What an absolute delight this visit was! Our service was fantastic, the food was great (Best Mac and Cheese EVER) and the beer...What can you say about the beer?! I had sooo much fun doing my beer tasting. Being able to walk in back and watch people brewing their own beer was really cool. I enjoyed my piece of Ogre Fest 2007 and will definitely drive up here again just to visit...THANK YOU!

HAIL TO THE HOPPS!!! I was sad to say goodbye when I left for Greensboro,NC. I'm even sadder now that I'm here and there's not a single brewery/pub near me that can even remotely beg a comparison to the selection of styles, service and atmosphere that makes the 'KETTLE what it is. See you all soon! GO BUCKEYES!!!

Totally missing the Brew Kettle this summer. But it's nice to be in San Diego -- plenty of brews for the hopheads out here. Maybe one day you guys could get some Pizza Port or Alpine brews on tap. These guys put out better IPAs than Stone (believe it!) Peace to Jeff and the rest of the Friday night crew!

Stoutman needs help deciding whether he likes the Bourbon Nitro Irish Stout better then the Dry Irish Stout. Stoutman would like to suggest that BOTH be on tap at the same time so Stoutman can conduct further tests and complete a detailed comparison analysis. :-)

I was sitting in my cubical Friday morning and I received my first Brew Kettle newsletter, what a great idea! My friends and I didn't know what we were going to do Friday night, after receiving your newsletter, then visiting your new website, we thought those RN Dry Irish Stouts and corned beef specials sounded good. I look forward to receiving more of your newsletter specials in my email. I also really like the "on tap" page, it really gives me a good idea of what I will have when I get there! Now us corporate guys and girls can keep up with the brew kettle on line! Keep up the great work.

Hi there! I haven't been on your site for awhile and when I received the email I clicked the link and here I am...WOW (as someone below said already) doesn't do the site justice. Great job - I love the "meet whose behind the bar!) I can't choose what is best about the Brew Kettle, the food, the beer, the people or most of all the owners! Keep up the great job:=0)

Stoutman thinks the RN Dry Irish Stout is really good! He seriously wonders if maybe there should be a name change to, "The Irish Brew Kettle"? He also thought the Corned Beef Dinner was excellent. Stoutman asks if adding this dinner selection to the regular menu is possible?
